Often developers find that after promoting their properties, they are unable to search for them within HAT. The steps are as follows:
1. Promote the properties in the schema you wish to be able to search on in HAT
2. Set tracking on the receive, send, and orchestration appropriately.
3. In BizTalk Administration Console, click on the schemas folder, right click the schema and open properties. In the window that opens, click on Tracking and click the “Always track on all properties” check box. There is some level of granularity available here.
4. In HAT, click Reporting->Find Messages. Select the schema from the drop down, and all available properties will be shown.
